Fox News: David Bossie: Mueller should end his probe and make his report public – Trump didn't collude with Russia

All signs indicate that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is on the verge of wrapping up his investigation and will conclude that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election.

President Trump’s former attorney John Dowd, a highly respected Washington lawyer, put an exclamation point on those feelings when he told ABC News this week: “If I was supervising Mueller, (I would) tell him to knock it off, get it done.”

After a 21-month investigation that has caused the Trump-hating media and political left to foam at the mouth in unison, tens of millions of hardworking American taxpayers are ready to move on and finally turn the page on the 2016 election. It’s time for everyone to digest the special counsel’s results and start to heal as a country.

If Mueller decides to send a final report to incoming Attorney General William Barr, that report should be released in full so the American people and Congress can see exactly what his long and expensive investigation found, did not find, and how it was conducted. After almost two years of secrecy, it’s time for some transparency.

Fox News: Bossie: Trump told Dems in State of the Union speech he wants to work with them – I'm optimistic it will happen

On Inauguration Day on Jan. 20, 1993, outgoing Republican President George H.W. Bush left a handwritten note for the new president of the United States, Democrat Bill Clinton. Just two months earlier, President Bush lost his bid for re-election to Clinton after a bruising campaign.

It was a tough pill to swallow, for certain. But President Bush knew he had to do what was right for America. In his note to the man who defeated him, Bush explained that even though they were rivals from different political parties, “your success now is our country's success. I am rooting hard for you.”

Now 26 years later, even though our country has become bitterly divided and President Bush is sadly no longer with us, his words are a reminder to us all of the need to put the best interests of our country above party politics.

Fox News: Dishonest Democrats won’t work with Trump on immigration because they’re scared to death of radical leftists

The left celebrated the reopening of the federal government last week as a “win” for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. With no legislative agenda for the American people to speak of, the liberal media are now forced to create fake victories for the Democrats. But to President Trump and tens of millions of hardworking American taxpayers, allowing our border crisis to continue is no victory.

Speaker Pelosi’s message to fellow Democrats that “unity is our power” speaks volumes to what the left cares about most. Sadly, the government shutdown demonstrated that congressional Democrats are unified by their hatred of President Trump and gaining power above all else. To date, the security of the American people has been nowhere to be found on their list of concerns.

Destroying the Trump presidency by any means necessary appears to be Pelosi’s only goal, and the anti-Trump media are a co-conspirator in this disgraceful effort. Pelosi refuses to listen to the American people – which would mean compromising on an immigration fix – because she’s scared to death that the radical leftists in her party will remove her from power. This is not leadership. And it’s certainly nothing to celebrate.

Shamefully, the liberal media provide cover for Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. and fellow Democrats by ignoring President Trump’s repeated attempts at compromise on the divisive issue of illegal immigration, which is the mark of a true leader. President Trump is willing to take the heat from his base of supporters in order to find common ground to secure our border, and Speaker Pelosi is not. That’s a fact.

David Bossie: Covington, BuzzFeed and Trump -- Liberal hatred for this conservative change agent is unhealthy

The 2016 election of Donald J. Trump, the ultimate political outsider, has given rise to what the president has coined "Fake News."

Day in and day out President Trump is bombarded with negative press that has no basis in fact. Because of this, the president has stated that the Fake News legions are his biggest enemy. Indeed, the Fake News media is the enemy of the truth and this past weekend the American people saw two more ugly examples of how they operate.

First, there was the false story from BuzzFeed that President Trump instructed his former lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress. The publication of this dishonest story set into motion a dangerous and irresponsible Fake News echo chamber. Unbelievably, one report found that MSNBC and CNN mentioned impeachment a whopping 179 times before BuzzFeed was called out for their false report.

The BuzzFeed fallacy was so horrible that Robert Mueller's office felt compelled for the first time to make a public statement saying that a report was untrue. The Special Counsel's office was essentially telling the Fake News legions that they needed a time out, like a 3-year old toddler. Unfortunately, the punishment won't work because the Fake News -- like so many unhinged liberals in Congress -- hate President Trump more than they love their country.

David Bossie: By blocking Trump’s State of the Union, Pelosi acts like leader of radical resistance movement

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to play politics with the State of the Union address by barring President Trump from delivering the speech in the House chamber Tuesday is shameful. The House of Representatives is not Nancy Pelosi’s house – it is the People’s House.

Pelosi, D-Calif., must come to her senses and remember that she’s a constitutional officer of the American government – not the leader of an unhinged radical resistance movement.

In the midst of the uncertainty created by the longest partial government shutdown in our nation’s history, it’s critically important that the American people hear from their president in the traditional setting.

I agree wholeheartedly with President Trump that he should deliver his 2019 State of the Union address from the well of the House chamber, where presidents have delivered the speech since 1913.

Fox News: Bossie: If Democrats oppose Barr, they'll oppose anyone Trump nominates -- He deserves bipartisan support

After Tuesday’s masterful performance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, if Senate Democrats still decide to oppose William Barr to be our next Attorney General, it means one thing. It means that they will oppose anyone President Trump nominates because they hate this president more than they love our country.

Here’s the truth. By any measurement, President Trump made an outstanding decision in nominating William Barr to be our nation’s next Attorney General. At Tuesday’s hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Barr proved himself to be an extraordinarily qualified nominee and someone who deserves robust bipartisan support in the U.S. Senate.

As a former attorney general during the administration of President George H.W. Bush, Barr is a well-respected senior statesman and patriot who could have easily chosen retirement and leisure but instead chose duty and country during a trying time in America. Barr repeatedly made it clear that he will be not be swayed by politics in his decision making but instead guided by the rule of law and Justice Department policies and procedures.

Quite predictably, Senate Democrats are attempting to make hay out of a memorandum Barr wrote last year speculating about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s possible pursuit of obstruction of justice charges against President Trump. Barr argued that President Trump cannot be prosecuted for obstruction of justice because it’s within the president’s constitutional authority to hire and fire whom he pleases in the Executive Branch of government, including the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Fox News: David Bossie: Trump's speech vs Schumer and Pelosi – Will America choose determination or denial?

The American people chose Donald Trump – the ultimate political outsider – to be their president in 2016 and solve problems affecting hardworking taxpayers. They understood that the out-of-touch political elites were no longer listening to them or addressing the issues they care about most. One of those issues is our nation’s ongoing illegal immigration crisis.

For more than 20 years, Washington politicians on both sides of the aisle – like former House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis.; current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. – never seriously made dealing with illegal immigration a priority. They talked about the problem, but never solved it.

In contrast, President Trump is now doing everything in his power to secure the border and end the partial government shutdown. He worked over Christmas while Nancy Pelosi vacationed in Hawaii. He is planning a trip to the border on Thursday to hear more from Border Patrol officers on the ground. And he addressed the nation Tuesday to make his excellent case to the American people.

The president made clear in his address to the nation from the Oval Office that he is determined to confront this crisis at the border now by offering noble, commonsense solutions that the professionals on the border are asking for.

Fox News: David Bossie: Attacks on Trump ignore all the things he's accomplished

Hardworking American taxpayers who believe in commonsense conservative ideals have many reasons to feel good about President Trump’s job performance during his first two years in office.

By any measurement, this president has done a great job delivering on his “promises made, promises kept” for all American families.

Thinking back to the 2016 campaign and the early days of the Trump administration, there were questions by Republicans about how conservatively President Trump would govern and how effective he would be steering the ship of state.

Those questions have since been answered. This president has proven himself to be a proud conservative who is working tirelessly to enact his America First agenda with great success.

President Trump has our economy growing and businesses prospering due to his pro-growth economic programs. Our unemployment rate is at a 50-year low. A record number of people are employed. And Americans understand that the current occupant of the Oval Office is watching out for them and their well-being above all else.

Fox News: David Bossie: An unhinged pack of liberal Democrats wants to impeach Trump. Republicans must fight back

An unhinged pack of liberal Democrats is poised to take over the House of Representatives in less than 30 days, and its members have made relentless investigations of President Trump their top priority.

Democratic House members are now lobbying to get seats on the Judiciary Committee because they’ve apparently already decided to try to impeach President Trump before sending one document request to the White House. If you think the last two years on Capitol Hill have been a hyper-partisan mess, you best buckle up.

After eight long years in the political wilderness, these House Democrats are about to take things straight into the gutter. They have no choice; their radical base wants impeachment at any cost, as do some of their biggest donors.

The last time impeachment was being discussed so frequently in Washington was back in 1998, when I served as the chief investigator for the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee. This committee will be chaired by Congressman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., starting in January.
