Fox News: Bossie: In Kavanaugh confirmation battle, Democrats show they don’t deserve to win control of Congress

The intensity of the fight over Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination has caused the American people to focus on national politics earlier than usual for a midterm election year – and that’s bad news for the Democrats.

With the Nov. 6 elections rapidly drawing near, Republicans and Democrats have been auditioning for control of Congress on national television at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Kavanaugh’s nomination to the high court. The onslaught of political TV advertising has not yet fully begun, but the American people have gotten a taste of what’s at stake on Election Day.

Historically, midterm elections are known for their low voter turnout in comparison to presidential elections. But this November promises to be different. Not only are both houses of Congress up for grabs, but so is President Trump’s agenda – and frankly, the Trump presidency itself.

The American people have witnessed the putrid politics of personal destruction emanating from the Washington swamp over the past two weeks.

The FBI is now conducting its seventh background check of Kavanaugh. President Trump ordered the week-long investigation because he felt it was the right and reasonable thing to do. Take a minute to juxtapose this exercise in presidential leadership with the Democratic circus in the Senate at the confirmation hearing for Kavanaugh.

Now that the Democrats have gotten their investigation of Kavanaugh, it will not be enough. When this investigation concludes, they will undoubtedly ask for an eighth investigation to delay his confirmation past the election.

Fox News: David Bossie: Let Trump be Trump on trade

As the FBI conducts its seventh background investigation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the mainstream media wants you to believe that the Trump administration is otherwise paralyzed by the left’s shameful smear campaign of a good man. This narrative from the fake news couldn’t be further from the truth because President Donald J. Trump is focused like a laser beam delivering on his promises for the American worker in the form of jobs, jobs, jobs.

This week’s announcement of a new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is not just another promise made and promise kept by President Trump. USMCA is also a celebration of the smartest, toughest, and largest trade deal ever done – with a price tag of some $1.2 trillion in annual trade.

Just what’s in the USMCA for America? You can think of it in three distinct parts.

First, the new agreements on increased regional content for industries like automobiles coupled with strong protections for labor will bring back much of the supply chain of America that has gone offshore. In the process, North America will once again become the globe’s manufacturing powerhouse; and that will mean more manufacturing jobs and higher wages for the heartland.

Second, the old NAFTA was signed in an era prior to the existence of things like digital trade and cutting edge biologics – complex drugs designed for some of the hitherto difficult to cure or control diseases. This new agreement fills in those blanks and in these ways modernizes the old NAFTA – or “SHAFTA” as its righteous critics had it.

Third, both farmers and ranchers will benefit from agreements that will increase market access for Americans in products like dairy, peanuts, and sugar. This is important because, as the USTR notes, “Canada and Mexico are our first and third largest exports markets for U.S. food and agricultural products, making up 28 percent of total food and agricultural exports in 2017. These exports support more than 325,000 American jobs.”

The bigger takeaways from this deal have to do with what it says about President Trump, his performance on trade, and his negotiating strategy. As one of his top economic advisors, Peter Navarro, said correctly this week on Fox News, President Trump is quietly putting together the best performance on trade and the economy of any modern president. And this November it’s imperative that we return Republican majorities to Congress so these accomplishments can continue.

Fox News: Bossie sounds off on 'disgusting' attacks on Brett Kavanaugh

Citizens United President and Fox News contributor David Bossie warns that the Democrats' political tactics will have repercussions for years to come.

Fox News: David Bossie: Trump deserves thanks for economy that's benefitting all Americans

When billionaire businessman and entrepreneur Donald Trump defeated big-government leftist Hillary Clinton for president, something critically important happened. Every American job creator and every American citizen who was struggling to make ends meet or searching for a job got a champion on their side. This was truly morning in America.

To highlight the unprecedented success of President Trump’s accomplishments and his America First agenda, Citizens United is launching a national media campaign to say “thank you” to our 45th president for his leadership.

Our first in a series of television ads is titled "How We Feel" and it will run nationally on television for the next eight days. It will be complimented with digital ads in targeted states in the coming days.

Finally there is someone sitting behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office who has made a payroll and is an ardent believer in American exceptionalism and free market capitalism.

The election of the ultimate political outsider Donald Trump to the presidency has created optimism in our private sector like never before. Businesses large and small know they have a person in power who thinks like them – not like a politician – and is managing our economy with that intuitive and innovative mindset.

President Trump looks at our flourishing economy and believes that we’ve only just begun. Over 155 million people are currently employed in our country – the most ever – and remarkably, there are more job openings than unemployed people.

Fox News: Bossie Op-ed: Anonymous NY Times op-ed shows Deep State thugs are working against the will of the American people

The failing New York Times confirmed the existence of the Deep State by publishing an anonymous op-ed Wednesday headlined “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration.”’

As usual, The Times was late in acknowledging the reality of individuals employed by the U.S. government who are actively working against the will of the people and America’s duly elected president.

Once dismissed as a conspiracy theory by the biased liberal media, the Deep State is now exposed for all to see. All Americans should be concerned – particularly the 62 million people who voted for Donald J. Trump for president in 2016.

The people spoke loudly and clearly in November 2016 and they chose President Trump – the ultimate political outsider – to confront the failed Washington status quo and shake it up.

The rise of the dangerous and unaccountable Deep State is a reaction to Trump and his highly successful America First agenda, which could not have been accomplished with business as usual.

Fox News: Bossie Op-ed: Woodward didn't dare write about Trump's accomplishments – 'Fear' is designed to help Dems win in November

If President Reagan was alive today, upon hearing about Bob Woodward’s latest book on the Trump presidency I imagine him delivering one of his most famous lines: “There you go again.”

We all know that Bob Woodward writes books for a living and the titles he comes up with are meant to sell as many books as possible. Most recently, Woodward has chosen some dramatic titles such as “Plan of Attack,” “Bush at War,” and “Obama’s Wars” for his books covering President Trump’s predecessors in the Oval Office.

Woodward’s newest book, scheduled for release Tuesday, is called “Fear: Trump in the White House,” and is no exception. Predictably, the title taps into the biased mainstream media’s false narrative about President Trump’s first 18 months in office.

President Trump correctly told reporters Wednesday: “The book means nothing. It’s a work of fiction.” The president added: “If you look back at Woodward’s past, he had the same problem with other presidents. He likes to get publicity, sell some books.”

Let’s first establish some core facts.

Fox News: Bossie Op-ed: Kavanaugh confirmation chaos offers a preview of what life would be like if Dems ran the government

Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on his nomination to the Supreme Court was set for its second day Wednesday, after the unhinged left was on full display on the opening day Tuesday.

Partisan rancor reigned as outbursts, interruptions, protests, and juvenile political stunts broke out when opponents of the nomination attempted to highjack the day’s proceedings.

Each Trump-hating Democrat on the committee took his or her turn flaunting the left’s radical anti-freedom agenda, as the American people got a glimpse of what life would look like if Democrats were entrusted with control of government.

By contrast, Kavanaugh delivered an opening statement that emphasized he would judge cases fairly and without political influence.

“My judicial philosophy is straightforward,” Kavanaugh said. “A judge must be independent and must interpret the law, not make the law. A judge must interpret statutes as written. A judge must interpret the Constitution as written, informed by history and tradition and precedent.”

“The Supreme Court must never be viewed as a partisan institution,” Kavanaugh added.

Halloween might not be until next month, but rest assured if Tuesday was any indicator, every scare tactic in the book will be employed this week by the frightening liberals.

CUPVF is proud to support conservative candidate Steve Smith in AZ-1!

"Smith, a state senator who has emphasized the need for a border wall, has trotted out endorsements intended to show he is the Trump team’s pick. Those include David Bossie, Trump’s deputy campaign manager; Jeff DeWit, Arizona’s former state treasurer who served as Trump’s chief operating officer; and Phil Lovas, the former state legislator who was Arizona state chairman for the Trump campaign."

Fox News: Bossie Op-ed: Trump-backed candidates keep on winning GOP primaries. Here's what that means for November

Candidates expressing strong support for President Trump continued their winning streak in Republican primaries Tuesday, capturing nominations in Florida, Arizona and Oklahoma. The victories confirm the strong approval ratings the president gets from Republicans across the nation.

In Florida, Republican voters nominated U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis to be their candidate for governor. DeSantis, a three-term congressman from the Jacksonville area, won a decisive victory over state Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.

DeSantis was the underdog in the race until President Trump enthusiastically endorsed his candidacy and became a vigorous supporter. The president’s backing propelled DeSantis, who earned a Bronze Star in the Navy, to an impressive 57 percent to 37 percent victory over Putnam.

DeSantis has earned a reputation as an innovative conservative reformer in Congress and is well-positioned to take on Andrew Gillum, the far-left Tallahassee mayor and Democratic nominee who is backed by democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Also in Florida, two-term Republican Gov. Rick Scott – another strong supporter of President Trump – easily won the GOP primary to become the party’s U.S. Senate candidate against Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson. Scott currently leads Nelson by a margin of 46 percent to 44 percent, according to an average of recent polls.

Fox News: Bossie Op-ed: Bruce Ohr and the anti-Trump activities of Obama officials -- what will his testimony reveal?

More information will be revealed about the Obama administration’s anti-Trump political opposition research efforts during the 2016 presidential campaign when demoted Justice Department official Bruce Ohr testifies before members of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees Aug. 28 in a closed-door session.

Ohr was an associate deputy attorney general in the Obama administration before his questionable actions led to his demotion. His testimony should provide the latest peek behind the curtain at the inner workings of the Deep State. Perhaps most significantly is what Ohr can tell members of the House committees about the political opposition research by his wife, Nellie Ohr.

We have learned that Nellie Ohr, a Russia specialist, was contracted by Fusion GPS at some point in 2016 to conduct anti-Donald Trump research. Congressional investigators should nail down the exact date Ms. Ohr starting working for Fusion GPS, to help piece together the timeline of the Democrats’ collusion with Russia.

It’s already known that the law firm Perkins Coie retained Fusion GPS in April 2016 and that Nellie Ohr mysteriously applied for and was granted an amateur ham radio license by the Federal Communications Commission in May 2016. The timing of these events and whether or not they’re related to Nellie Ohr’s work for Fusion remains to be seen, but will soon be uncovered through congressional fact-finding.

Congress must drill down into the circumstances surrounding Nellie Ohr’s hiring. How and why did she come to be hired by Fusion GPS? Who recommended her? Did anyone working for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, the Democratic National Committee, or the Obama administration have anything to do with her hiring?
